The minimum and maximum salaries for this job role are below:

Minimum Salary -  64,000.00 

Maximum Salary -  80,000.00

The Role: 

 

We are seeking a committed and seasoned Advisor in Human Resources to become part of our collaborative team located in Jersey City. This role is crucial in providing high-quality advisory HR services to employees, managers, and the HR team concerning HR policy, relations with employees, and the complete employee life cycle. You will be proactive in supporting our business partners, the Centers of Excellence and HR operations teams by delivering against the strategy and operating model in HR. The successful candidate will embody our client's values in every facet of their role.

 

 

Key Accountabilities:

  

As an Advisor in Human Resources, your role will be multifaceted. You will be responsible for aligning activities in HR with both business objectives and the overarching strategy in HR. Your excellent organizational skills will ensure that all procedures in HR are compliant with policy and legislation. You will provide invaluable support to people managers on issues related to performance management and relations with employees. Your commitment to continuous improvement will see you contributing to the development of processes in HR, service delivery, technology build, process guides, templates, forms, FAQ, and internal communications

 

* Align activities in HR with business objectives and overall strategy in HR

* Ensure compliance of procedures and documentation in HR with policy and legislation

* Offer support to people managers on issues related to performance management and relations with employees

* Contribute to the development of processes in HR, service delivery and continuous improvement

* Maintain awareness of changes in compliance and regulation as it relates to policies, practices, and employee base.

* Manage efficiently and deliver projects and initiatives in HR to meet personal and wide objectives in HR

 

 

Skills and Experience: 

 

As an ideal candidate for the role of Advisor in Human Resources, you bring a wealth of experience from your 2-4+ years working within Human Resources. Your ability to manage low tier relations cases with employees independently demonstrates your strong problem-solving skills. Your generalist experience includes supporting activities related to recruitment, producing data analytics, updating policies and procedures. You have a proven track record of contributing to objectives related to projects. Your critical thinking abilities are complemented by your strong capabilities related to analytics. Your high level of administration skills and organisation skills are matched by your excellent skills related to verbal and written communication. You have the ability to work independently and use initiative, demonstrating your adaptability in a fast-paced and changing environment.

 

 

*2-4 plus years’ experience in Human Resources

* Experience in coaching and working with managers on performance management including the ability to influence and guide leaders

* Experience managing low tier relations cases with employees independently

* Generalist experience including supporting activities related to recruitment (job profiles), producing data analytics, updating policies and procedures

* Experience contributing to objectives related to projects

* Strong capabilities related to analytics

* High level of administration skills and organization skills

* Excellent skills related to verbal and written communication including use of PPT and presenting to leadership

* Ability to work independently and use initiative and the drive to work at a fast pace
