The Role
We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join us.
This role will assume responsibility for providing financial analysis for the Group and Segments. You will also report results to multiple stakeholders internally, including underwriting teams, finance, actuarial, capital management and various other business stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities
- Prepare and review financial analysis to ensure the accuracy of management information
- Prepare and present financial analysis to support commercial decision making
- Prepare and present financial analysis to support creation of corporate value
- Report on MI, plan, reforecasts and financial reporting activities
- Responsible for identifying improvement opportunities and designing and implementing associated enhancements
- Utilises the data stored in the Group finance toolset observing and contributing to enhancing data integrity
- Utilises industry experience to ensure analysis is relevant and useful to the business community
- Face-off to the business on the communication and ownership of the quarterly financial result, monthly GWP reporting, and annual Plan
- Analysis and reporting of Aspen’s global segment financial data and quarterly results
- Responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency and timeliness of Quarterly global segment MI
- Assist in the production of reporting and line of business Quarterly Performance Reviews
- Identifies opportunities for efficiencies, automation and streamlining of existing activities and actively review the segment portfolios for opportunities and threats to profitability
- Provides industry experience and technical accounting knowledge to guide senior management
- Operate collaboratively with colleagues in the team to ensure relevant knowledge and expertise is shared for their continuing personal and professional development and support the achievement of business goals

- Uses considerable segment experience to mentor team members
Knowledge, Skills and experience
- Internationally recognised accounting designation (ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent)
- Experience with data analytics and data visualisation tools preferred
- Experience within the (re)insurance industry
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of US GAAP reporting Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills
- Proactive, self-motivated with a team orientation
- Strong work ethic and high energy who strives for excellence
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft Excel is essential
