The minimum and maximum salaries for this job role are below:

Minimum Salary -  88,000.00 

Maximum Salary -  110,000.00

If this sounds like you we are seeking a Finance Business Partner for our Reinsurance Segment!

This role is based in Rocky Hill, CT (or Stamford, CT) and offers an exciting opportunity to deliver financial results to the Executive Committee and senior management. You will be instrumental in supporting the production of the annual financial business plan, preparing insightful analysis to support commercial decision-making processes, and identifying opportunities and threats. Your ability to work collaboratively with internal colleagues across multiple departments will be key to your success.

The Role:

In this role you will deliver financial results to Executive Committee and senior management. You will support the production of the annual financial business plan and work collaboratively with internal colleagues across multiple departments as a valued partner, committed to helping drive profitable and sustainable growth in the company.

 Key Accountabilities: 

• Assist in the production of the global Segment annual business plan
• Collaborate and support on segment-led projects/activities
• Coordinate responses on management information (MI), plan, reforecasts, and financial reporting activities relating to pricing, claims and expenses
• Identify improvement opportunities and design and implement associated enhancements
• Act as a point of contact for Underwriting Heads in respect of financial information relating to their respective teams for plan and actuals
• Analyze and report on global Segment financial data and quarterly results
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of Quarterly global Segment MI
• Perform quarterly control testing for the segment
• Identify opportunities for efficiencies, automation and streamlining of existing activities and actively review the Segment portfolios for opportunities and threats to profitability
• Operate collaboratively with colleagues in the team to ensure relevant knowledge and expertise is shared for their continuing personal and professional development and support the achievement of business goals

Skills and Experience:

• Professional accounting qualification (ICAEW, ICAS, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred
• 5 or more years or relevant FP&A experience
• Previous experience in the re/insurance or financial services industry
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• Ability to establish relationships with many stakeholders
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with financial data systems and data visualization software
