The work pattern for this job is Hybrid 

 

The minimum and maximum salaries for this job role are below:

Minimum Salary - 68,000.00  

Maximum Salary - 85,000.00  

 

Role Purpose

 

  • To support and execute on the deliverables of the defined Premium strategy that provides analytics and insights to drive continuous improvement across the global operations function
  • Build effective analytical products to ensure all regulatory, portfolio, and operational reporting is accurate and delivered within required timelines.
  • Define and standardize data capture ensuring governance and oversight
  • Develop data management insights that drive end to end decisions making capabilities
  • Develop a suite of dashboard reporting that provide Underwriters with insights into the risk and the technical characteristics
  • Manage and facilitate the clean-up of historical data, where deemed necessary

  Technical Performance 

 

  • Develop analytical data products and outputs to monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators for premium globally.
  • Develop a suite of data governance reports using IHub, SQL, SSIS, DQ Pro, PowerBi and any other appropriate tools and associated sources of data
  • Contribute to the delivery of MI & Analytics change priorities to meet and deliver against global Premium priorities. 
  • Develop self-service reporting tools to support the delivery of management information to improve productivity and help to drive real-time business decisions.
  • Deliver accurate and timely reporting to key stakeholders and regulators
  • Support the education and skills of others within Aspen Insurance, to generate a data first mindset and skills that enable advanced data literacy.
  • Support the global function in the production of analytical and insight driven products and outputs.
  • Produce regular statistical and analytical Premium information to Portfolio and Risk Managers and Senior Management to enable effective monitoring.
  • Act as a referral point to other members of the operations team on specific tasks or in the absence of appropriate Head of role owner
  • Information presented effectively to key stakeholders

 

Skills & Experience

 

  • Previous Insurance experience required
  • In depth experience of working in data and analytical environment
  • Knowledge of SQL or SSIS
  • Able to produce detailed reports and analytical packs at various levels
  • Proficient in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Proficient in MS Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Able to manage conflicting priorities to achieve deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong Investigative skills
  • Lloyd’s market experience preferred
