The work pattern for the job is Hybrid

 

The minimum and maximum salaries for this job role are below:

 

Minimum Salary -  144,000.00

Maximum Salary -  180,000.00

 

The Role

 

Are you a well-versed insurance expert with MGA experience that is organized, enjoys wearing multiple hats and has exceptional communication skills? Can you resolve stakeholder queries while demonstrating a subject matter expert role (escalating when needed?)

This is an opportunity to support internal and external stakeholder relationships and work closely across all functional areas. This role will contribute to the onboarding of programs, including by leading requirements gathering, ensuring programs become fully operational once contracts have been agreed to with proper documentation, and coordinating efficient data feeds from clients.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Contribute to the onboarding of programs, including requirements gathering, ensuring programs become fully operational once contracts have been agreed to with proper documentation, and coordinating efficient data feeds from clients
  • Be responsible and accountable for the execution of solution offerings
  • Active involvement in ongoing operational tasks and services for MGAs, TPAs and Clients that remain active and when necessary, through run-off
  • Continually develops knowledge of Aspen insurance market dynamics and market cycles to support business performance
  • Ensuring that systems, processes, and controls are in place to capture required data elements outlined in Program agreements, and other business partner agreements
  • Assisting with the development, maintenance and ongoing improvement of the processes and systems (e.g., data repositories and downstream interfaces) related to program business
  • Contributing to the production of reports, both internal and external, such as monthly / quarterly / annual reports, data calls, and internal / external audits
  • Lead frequent data exchanges, ensure data quality, and perform advanced data analytics to enable portfolio steering
  • Identify challenges and develop solutions that demonstrate client focus as well as meet internal requirements
  • Ensures awareness of and compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements
  • Report and make recommendation of any programs operational risks as and when needed
  • Ensure the cost-effective delivery of agreed Programs services that will improve Aspen’s performance
  • Acts as an operational expert to support the identification of issues and opportunities in the onboarding of programs
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of end-to-end operational performance reports / KPIs for Aspen stakeholders

 

Skills & Experience

 

  • A well-seasoned organized professional with 7- 10 years reinsurance and / or insurance experience (MGA experience needed.)
  • Relevant industry experience in the management of operations of more than 5 years, working within the program segment
  • Experience working as part of a senior team within a multi coverage insurance environment
  • Experience in designing and evaluating controls, preferably with both surplus lines and admitted business environments
  • Establish and maintain effective, trusting, and respectful relationships with Programs and internal teams in a matrix environment
  • Strong P&C industry knowledge, with a demonstrable understanding of the marketplace, the underwriting process and overall insurance company operations
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to gather and assess client requirements, troubleshoot complex issues and develop/present practical and reasonable solutions
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple and evolving priorities with limited direct supervision
  • Strong Microsoft Office knowledge and skills, specifically Excel
  • Able to manage conflicting team priorities to achieve deadlines and the ability to plan effectively and efficiently and collaborate effectively within a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail & investigative skills and experience in managing granular and large sets of data
  • Effectively and efficiently present logic, reasoning, and analysis to others
  • College degree preferred and post-graduate and / or industry certification designation a plus
