The work pattern for the job is Hybrid 

 

The minimum and maximum salaries for this job role are below:

 

Minimum Salary -  $107,000 

Maximum Salary -  $118,000 

 

Aspen is seeking a Reinsurance Strategy Consultant to support our strategic approaches and organizational planning goals. This role will involve developing and leading cross-functional communications, initiatives, and projects to maximize productivity and quality across all touchpoints of the organization. The successful candidate will be expected to reflect the company's values in the delivery and performance of every role.

 

This is a unique opportunity to be involved in a wide range of activities in support of a steadily growing reinsurance business.  The ideal candidate has a demonstrated ability to analyze data, craft executive level messages, and drive change across multiple functional areas.

 

The Role:

As a Reinsurance Strategy Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the CUO-Reinsurance and Reinsurance Executive Committee (Re ExCo) in developing and implementing the Global Reinsurance Strategy. You will design, execute, and communicate initiatives that align with the business strategy. Your responsibilities will also include delivering key messages from the Reinsurance Executive to internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with others to present analysis on financial performance. You will take a lead role in managing affairs related to Re ExCo, under direction from the CUO and CFO.

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Support the development and implementation of the Global Reinsurance Strategy.
  • Design, execute and communicate initiatives in alignment with business strategy.
  • Deliver key messages from the Reinsurance Executive to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work with Reinsurance Finance to provide analysis on financial performance.
  • Lead role in managing affairs related to Re ExCo.
  • Undertake the development and delivery of reporting activities.
  • Support preparation for Re ExCo meetings.
  • Ensure actions are followed up on and delivered in an appropriate timeframe.
  • Support on projects or assignments as needed.
  • Manage relationships with Reinsurance Executive Committee and members of leadership teams.

 

Skills & Experience:

 

 

The ideal candidate for this position is able to demonstrate the following characteristics:

 

  •  Bachelor's Degree or equivalent formal education qualification.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • (Re)Insurance industry experience is desired, especially in the Property and Casualty field.  Candidates with a background in other Financial Services industries can be considered.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Comfortable with understanding and analyzing data in a way that supports business management objectives.
  • Proven track record of initiating and executing projects/initiatives in support of business goals.
  • Demonstrated history of working as a trusted partner to functional area leaders.
